About Our Fabrics

Cotton & Cotton Blends
Our collections primarily feature cotton and cotton-blend fabrics that are:
● Soft and comfortable to wear
● Lightweight and breathable
● Gentle on the skin
● Ideal for daily wear and warm weather
As with most natural fabrics, slight color bleeding, shrinkage, or texture changes may occur over time and are considered normal fabric behavior rather than manufacturing defects.

Washing Instructions

First Wash
● We recommend washing the garment separately for the first wash.
● Some colors, especially darker shades, may release excess dye during initial washes.
Regular Washing
● Hand wash separately in cold water whenever possible.
● If machine washing, use a gentle cycle with similar colors.
● Use mild detergent only.
● Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
● Avoid soaking garments for extended periods.

Drying Instructions
● Dry in shade to help preserve color and fabric quality.
● Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
● Reshape the garment while damp if needed.

Ironing Instructions
● Iron on low to medium heat.
● Iron on the reverse side whenever possible.
● Avoid excessive heat on printed, embroidered, or embellished areas.

Natural Fabric Characteristics
As most TAKSHITAA garments are made using cotton and cotton-blend fabrics, please note:
● Slight color bleeding during initial washes is normal.
● Minor shrinkage may occur after the first wash.
● Natural variations in weave, texture, or color are part of the fabric's character.
● Colors may appear slightly different due to lighting and screen settings.
These are natural fabric properties and should not be considered defects.
